Currently, I am the Public Information Assistant with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. (ACCPD). In this capacity, I showcase my creative talents promoting the department through our social media outlets.
During my time with the ACCPD as the Public Information Officer, I worked with department leadership during ten or more major incidents, including 8 officer-involved shootings.
At the University of Georgia for over 30 years, I created video, multimedia, and other promotional presentations.
Graduating with a degree from UGA’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication in 1986, I began my career chasing tractors and crawling through mud and muck with a video camera for the UGA Cooperative Extension Service.
